Oded Fehr and Kevin J. O’Connor will reprise their roles from the original 1999 film “The Mummy” for the upcoming next installment in the franchise at Universal Pictures. O’Connor played Beni Gabor, a former French Foreign Legion comrade of Brendan Fraser’s Rick O’Connell. Fehr played Ardeth Bay, the leader of the secret society of warriors known as the Medjai who protect Egypt from the creature. Fehr reprised the role in “The Mummy Returns”. Fraser reprises his role of American adventurer Rick O’Connell while both Rachel Weisz and John Hannah are back English Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan and her brother Jonathan.
