Illinois Valley Community College has partnered with Uwill Mental Health and Wellness to provide round-the-clock mental health support to students. “Mental health crises do not operate on a school schedule and the help we provide cannot be a one-size-fits-all model,” said Dean of Student Success Crystal Credi. Between Uwill and Transformative Growth, students have access to 10 free therapy sessions annually — six through Uwill and four through Transformative Growth. Thirty-two percent of students who use Uwill services obtain same-day appointments, according to the company. For immediate help during a mental health crisis, students should call 833-646-1526.
