A Thunderstorm is set to hit Inverness and much of the Moray Firth Coast this afternoon. The Met Office issued two separate warnings for thunder, with both impacting Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and now Inverness in the latest Met Office update. Today’s yellow warning starts at 1pm and continues until 9pm tonight. The first yellow warning came into force at midday and was in place until 10pm on Tuesday. However, the Met Office warning has since been updated to cover Inverness and the much of coastal towns along the Moray Firth.
