“Sandoz Inc. rigged the generic drug market, forcing customers to pay higher prices for critical medication. Sandoz, Inc. is a U.S. subsidiary of Swiss generic drug provider Sandoz Group AG. Founded in 1886, the group is now the largest generic and biosimilar provider on the globe, serving roughly 500 million patients daily. Sandoz, Inc. also paid $265million in a 2024 settlement with the state of Pennsylvania. The coalition of states will also be receiving $96.5 million worth of settlement funds from various pharmaceutical companies including Glenmark, Lannett, Bausch, Apotex, and Heritage.
