Okay, it’s just a bunch of brick, concrete, steel, wiring, wood, and earth..... but I have always been interested in Jackson’s Otsego Hotel... what an awesome legacy. The Otsego Hotel began life in 1865 when a hotel named the Hibbard House was built on the site. Thus, the new Otsego Hotel opened on Saturday, April 9, 1904, named after Otsego Lake, New York. In 1901 they built a new hotel, the Otsego, which opened on April 9, 1904. It featured waitresses wearing Native American headdresses, and other rooms included Native American designs and fixtures.
