New Town Is Hosting A Three Day Brain Health Event Open To Everyone

A three-day Brain Health Conference will bring together health professionals, caregivers and community members Aug. 12–14 in New Town to focus on issues ranging from dementia to addiction and brain injury.
The event, hosted by Elbowoods Memorial Health Center, will be held at 4 Bears Casino and Lodge and is open to all ages.
Presentations will feature speakers such as Casey Venturini, founder of Doing Dementia; Dr. Bill Rosen on acquired brain injury; and Dr. Spero Manson on dementia in Native communities.
Breakout sessions on Aug. 13 will be led by regional programs including diabetes services, victim services, public health, aging services and Native Connections.
