"There's been over 125 jobs lost at a minimum. The economic loss probably exceeds $100 million in the nearly four years that the road's been closed, and that's lost to the whole LGA area," Mr Chalk said. "People approaching or past retirement age know that they are not able to sell their properties while there's no road."
