John Douglas, 63, of the Trashcan Sinatras, has died days after the release of the group’s latest album (Picture: Instagram/@jrdouglasesq)Tributes have poured in after the death of John Douglas, the guitarist and singer of the Trashcan Sinatras.
The news of his death emerged four days after the Scottish indie rock group released their new album, Ever the Optimist.
Stephen Douglas is John’s brother, and the pair, along with Livingston, joined Reader and Hughes after the band was launched in 1986.
