The City of Evanston is set to begin a series of improvements at James Park this month, with construction expected to continue through December. James Park will remain open throughout construction. However, the fieldhouse and portions of the adjacent parking lot will be temporarily closed. The city will provide portable restrooms, temporary ADA parking spaces and a temporary ADA-accessible path during the closures. Limited parking restrictions may also be implemented in the west parking lot as needed, with affected areas posted with temporary “No Parking” signs at least 48 hours in advance.
