Bethpage Chamber hosts annual Music Off Broadway weekend

The Bethpage Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual carnival and Music Off Broadway event this weekend from Friday, Aug. 7, to Sunday, Aug. 9.
The carnival will have rides for Bethpage residents of all ages and is the only ticketed portion of the event, Chamber Treasurer Don Schiavetta said.
In past years, the event used to be called Music On Broadway, since the performance space for the concert was on the actual street.
Schiavetta said that they relocated the festival closer to the Bethpage Long Island Rail Road station so the event is now off Broadway.
“We’re taking over the railroad lot and creating more of a carnival and festival-type feel,” Schiavetta said.
