On August 2, a package with twenty (20) vacuum-sealed parcels of a whitish substance suspected to be cocaine was seized near the dock at Coco Point. A second seizure was made the following day, when a similar package containing twenty (20) vacuum-sealed parcels with a substance suspected to be cocaine was discovered along the said Coco Point Beach. The combined seizure weighed 104 pounds, with an estimated street value of EC$1,084,910.00. The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has launched a full investigation into the origin of the drugs and is pursuing all available leads to identify those responsible.
