Associates, community partners and guests gathered at the store, located at 1931 Jesse Jewell Pkwy. During the celebration, Kroger recognized its Partners in Education, New Holland Elementary School, Gainesville Middle School and Lakeview Academy, as well as its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste partner, the Atlanta Community Food Bank. “In keeping with Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste commitment, our contractors and partners diverted 96 percent of the construction waste generated during the renovation project from landfills,” Young-Ennaemba said.
