But Burdette Park also knows how to scare the crap out of us, and I am here for it. In 2024, the park debuted "Fright Night," a terrifying walk through the park that ended with a showing of the original Friday the 13th from 1980. After taking 2025 off, Fright Night returns this fall to one of the tri-state's favorite destinations. Fright Night 2: The Chambers concludes with a showing of the 1990 TV adaptation of Stephen King's It on a massive 40-foot screen.
