UPDATE, 8:30 p.m.: The Natrona County Fire District updated their social media post to announce that the fire has been contained.
UPDATE, 3:50 p.m.: Mike Haigler, the Natrona County Road and Bridge superintendent/fire warden, told those in attendance at the Natrona County Board of County Commissioners work session discussion that the fire that broke out near Harvey Place and Salt Creek Highway was a “tire fire.”

A social media post from the NCFD says that the wildland fire broke out in the area of Harvey Place, off of Salt Creek Highway.
