— The U.S. Forest Service has announced that a wildfire has broken out in the Big Piney Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
A social media post from the Forest Service has dubbed the fire the “Bare Fire.”
It is located north of Bare Pass and East of Bare Creek.
The post states that Teton Interagency Fire engines and firefighting staff, as well as Sublette County resources, are on the scene of the fire.
Air attack, two Type-3 helicopters, smokejumpers and a 10-person fire module and fire engine have been ordered to help suppress the fire.
