Investing.com -- Pinterest (NYSE:PINS) reported second quarter results that exceeded Wall Street expectations, but shares tumbled 5% in early trading on Wednesday as the company's current-quarter guidance pointed to a slowdown in revenue growth.
Against this backdrop, third-quarter revenue is expected to be between $1.19 billion to $1.21 billion, representing 13% to 15% growth -- cooling from 18% in June quarter.
Revenue in the U.S. and Canada grew 18% to $880 million, while Europe revenue increased 12% to $213 million.
For the third quarter, Pinterest expects adjusted core earnings in the range of $335 million to $355 million.
