The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly woman who went missing at 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, after leaving her home in Terrebonne.
88-year-old Janet Montoya suffers from dementia and was last seen on 17th Street approaching Davidson Way.
She was last seen wearing a maroon vest, a long-sleeved blue shirt, light blue jeans, hiking boots, and a blue visor, and carrying a purse.
Due to her dementia and vulnerable condition, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue volunteers have been deployed to assist in locating Montoya.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging residents in the Terrebonne area to check around their properties, review home security footage, and report any possible sightings immediately.
