President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced he's endorsing the candidacy of Lindsey Graham's sister, Darline Graham Nordone. Nordone confirmed last month that she would seek a full term in the Senate, after Gov. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that he had asked Nordone "for the Good of our Nation" to run for the senate in the special republican primary on August 11. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., died unexpectedly in July. Nordone joins a crowded primary field, which already includes Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry, R-S.C., as well as former Graham challenger Mark Lynch.
