Tina Alfini of Drake & Associates joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 4, to explain that estate planning is not exclusively for the wealthy and safeguards anyone's assets.
She said that an effective plan includes healthcare and financial powers of attorney, a living will for medical treatments and a last will to divide property and name guardians because drafting those documents prevents courts from dictating asset distribution.
