The 252-page royal commission of inquiry’s report on the investigations into Tabung Haji’s management and operations from 2014 to 2020 was declassified and released on Wednesday. PETALING JAYA : The government should disclose its progress in implementing the royal commission of inquiry’s (RCI) recommendations for Tabung Haji to increase public confidence, says a think tank. It was responding to religious affairs minister Zulkifli Hasan’s statement on July 30 that the government had already implemented about 75% of the RCI’s 25 recommendations. Zulkifli had also said the government would expedite implementing the remaining 25% of the RCI’s recommendations, including limiting the religious affairs minister’s jurisdiction on haj management. The 252-page RCI report on the investigations into TH’s management and operations from 2014 to 2020 was declassified and released on Wednesday, after the commission completed it in July 2022.
