(File pic)PETALING JAYA : A Malaysian aged 22 was arrested at the Woodlands checkpoint in Singapore for allegedly attempting to smuggle over 10kg of drugs on Aug 1. This is the latest case of Malaysians being caught in neighbouring countries attempting to smuggle drugs. Last week, a Malaysian pilot was arrested at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia for allegedly smuggling about 25kg of ecstasy. Another Malaysian, 22, was arrested at the Juanda International Airport in Surabaya yesterday for allegedly smuggling nearly 1kg of meth and over 1,000 ecstasy pills.
