After several months of primarily watching from the sidelines — both the Vancouver Whitecaps in MLS play and Canada at the World Cup — Ralph Priso is back. Returning to the pitch was important for Priso both physically and mentally. Hopefully this time he’s back for good as the Whitecaps compete in MLS, the Canadian Championship and — starting Tuesday night in Vancouver — the 2026 Leagues Cup. “I feel good, it was frustrating to be out for so long but I feel good,” Priso told reporters on Monday. Only the top four MLS clubs reach the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup, so Priso and the Whitecaps will be hoping to start with a big win at home.
