-- American Airlines is set to transition travel from South Bend International Airport to O'Hare International Airport from a luxury motorcoach to an aircraft. Flights will occur three times a day with the airline's CRJ-700 regional aircraft with dual-class cabins and 65 seats. The motorcoach route between SBN and O'Hare will continue through Oct. 4. Passengers who've already booked between SBN and O'Hare on American Airlines after Oct. 4 will be automatically rebooked and will receive an email notification from the airline, officials said. “It was one-year ago in October that American connected SBN to another of the airline’s hubs, marking a third nonstop route from SBN,” said SBN CEO and Executive Director Mike Daigle.
