Uzbekistan and Hong Kong-based Henderson Land Group explored investment opportunities in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production during a meeting between Deputy Agriculture Minister Alisher Shukurov and a delegation led by the company's Chairman Peter Lee Ka-kit. The talks focused on prospective investment projects aimed at supporting the country's green economy agenda, including the use of renewable energy and the production of high-value products from agricultural biomass. "The parties discussed prospects for implementing investment projects in agriculture and the green economy, including the production of sustainable aviation fuel and other value-added products based on agricultural biomass," the ministry said in a statement. A key topic of the meeting was the potential development of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) projects in Uzbekistan.
