Article contentThe City of Brockville’s engineering division, along with contractor Len Corcoran Excavating, have begun the reconstruction of Bartholomew Street from King Street to James Street. The work, which began on Tuesday, is expected to take a few months and should be completed by the end of October. This work is being done to replace aging and deficient infrastructure and for maintaining safe drinking water, sufficient supply of water for firefighting purposes, sewage collection and a safe and efficient road system in the city, officials said. Residents can expect a full road closure of Bartholomew Street from King Street to James Street.
