That included seven excessive speeding tickets, 311 speeding tickets, one ticket for driving without due care and attention, 10 seatbelt violations, two tickets for using an electronic device while driving, and 11 tickets for driving without insurance. Those evaluations resulted in 27 drug-impaired driving investigations and 23 blood samples taken for laboratory testing. In total, police opened 78 drug-impaired driving files during the enforcement operation. Officers also issued 50 additional traffic tickets and removed eight vehicles from the road because of serious mechanical defects.
