The Osoyoos Coyotes have named a new assistant coach and head athletic trainer for the upcoming hockey season. Over the weekend, BC Hockey Conference announced Osoyoos' own Dylan Hood would be stepping into both roles for 2026-27. "A native of Osoyoos, Hood is returning home after an impressive 15-year professional hockey career," reads a BCHC update. Additionally, the new assistant coach and trainer is the founder of Hood Athletic Edge; which focuses on athlete performance, strength, mobility, and injury prevention.
