A routine traffic stop on Highway 97 near Oceola Road led to a significant drug seizure by Lake Country RCMP. While on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle and during the interaction observed suspected drugs inside. “This is an excellent example of the proactive work being done by police in Lake Country to stem the flow of illicit and toxic drugs into our community,” said Staff Sgt. Jon Collins, detachment commander of the Lake Country RCMP.
