The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says eastbound traffic on I-24 will be restricted on Wednesday in Livingston and Lyon counties between mile markers 32 and 34.5, which is between the Smithland exit and the Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Weigh Station near Kuttawa. Transportation officials say the restriction is for mechanical brush cutting, as crews clear overgrowth along the guardrails. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.
