Architectural and Engineering Services launches new process for smaller projects

Architectural and Engineering Services is the Boise State department responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of all construction and renovation work on campus.
Because the prescribed process for projects of all sizes is the same, this has historically been cumbersome and costly for smaller projects.
In an effort to remove some of this administrative burden from these projects, the department is launching the Special Projects program.
Each project request will be evaluated to see whether it can most efficiently be accomplished through Special Projects or the traditional project processes.
Architectural and Engineering Services anticipates there will be adjustments to the program as it is established and they look forward to the campus’s collaboration and feedback.
