LAFAYETTE – After more than 33 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Indiana, Indiana State Police Lieutenant Tom McKee is retiring following a distinguished career with the department. In December 1993, McKee graduated from the 50th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and was assigned to the Lafayette District. In 2014, McKee was promoted to Commander of the Indiana State Police Lafayette District, a position he held until his retirement. During his Indiana State Police career, McKee served on the Tactical Intervention Platoon and SWAT. As he closes this chapter of his career, Lieutenant McKee looks forward to spending more time with his family and enjoying the opportunities that retirement brings.
