Sharon Norman, of Gipsy Lane, uses Meadow Road in Earley on her route to work and noticed a substantial water leak on Friday, July 24. Ms Norman has called for Thames Water to tighten their act as engineers have still not arrived on site to carry out repairs, despite residents' concerns. With a hosepipe ban imposed by Thames Water last week, Ms Norman is 'surprised' the leak has still not been repaired yet. "I have not contacted Thames Water about it but I assume they are aware of it through residents. A spokesman for Thames Water said that it was planning the repair.
