Some people have been saying South Central Transit will no longer do any medical rides. She says the Medicaid Transportation and Medicaid Waiver only impacts those who have been getting their rides paid for by Medicaid. Hansen says people still have the option of paying for the rides themselves with South Central Transit out of pocket. South Central Transit announced that it will no longer be (certified) to provide Medicaid and Medicaid Waiver transportation services beginning Tuesday, August 4th.
