By Devin FryFARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man is facing a federal charge after police say he was seen openly carrying an AR-style rifle at the Fargo Street Fair, despite a court order prohibiting him from possessing firearms or ammunition.
Still from body cam footage allegedly showing Owen Stish holding a rifle, as included in the indictment.
Later that same day, Fargo police officers observed Stish openly carrying an uncased AR-style rifle, slung across his chest, at the Fargo Street Fair on Broadway N. in downtown Fargo.
The following day, July 17, an officer again encountered Stish near the Street Fair, this time without the rifle.
Stish had a federal court date for these charges on August 3 before Magistrate Judge Alice Senechal.
