The Central Oregon Villages shelter behind Desert Streams Church Friday afternoon. Pallet shelters have grown in popularity since Central Oregon Villages opened its Desert Streams location in 2023. The new Central Oregon Villages location will hold open houses later this year to show the neighborhood what it will offer. A resident’s health also may deteriorate beyond what Central Oregon Villages can provide. Fences for Fido and Family Kitchen have worked with Central Oregon Villages to provide fencing for dog runs and meals.
