Evacuation orders in Deschutes and Jefferson counties have been lifted as of Monday afternoon, despite the ongoing smoky conditions. Evacuation levels in the immediate area of the fires remain at Level 3 (Go) evacuation orders and areas surrounding the fires remain at Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation orders. The Warm Springs Reservation is under Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation orders while areas west of the fire are under Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation orders. Those to the north of the fire are under Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation orders, while those along the fire’s perimeter are under Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation orders. Air quality levels may decrease Wednesday evening in Prineville to levels between 101 and 150, which is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.
