AdvertisementA HOMEOWNER in Dooradoyle was left short after three suspect tradesmen called to his door offering to carry out roofing and garden work. According to Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, of Henry Street Garda Station, the homeowner made a payment to the tradesmen, who started the work but never finished. “The men failed to return,” Sergeant O’Halloran added. Sergeant O’Halloran advised people: “If someone calls unexpectedly and you’re unsure, simply say no and close the door.
