The United Nations in Zambia has unveiled its 2025 Annual Results Report, highlighting the impact of coordinated partnerships in advancing national development and improving the lives of vulnerable communities across the country. Ms Mutali added that the document showcases the collective achievements made in key sectors such as health, education, women’s and youth empowerment, climate resilience, food security and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). “This report reflects what we can achieve when we work together towards a common goal of sustainable development,” Ms Muntali said. Ms Chingoma said one of the major achievements recorded in 2025 was the strengthening of skills development through the launch of the Mining Sector Skills Committee, which has enhanced coordination between industry and skills development institutions. She added that skills planning was also strengthened through reviews in the agriculture and tourism sectors, while recommendations were developed to improve the financing and effectiveness of skills development programmes.
