The Ark-La-Tex Junior Golf Tour closed out its summer season with the annual Tournament of Champions on Monday at Pinecrest Country Club. Earning division wins on Monday were James Daugherty of Longview (56, coed 7-9), Philip Guidry of Koran, Louisiana (39, boys 10-11), Mya Fuller of Longview (100, girls 12-13), Kolby Kubiak of Tatum (73, boys 12-13), Teagan Eager of Longview (99, girls 14-15), Deacon Brown of Longview (73, boys 14-15) and Copeland Eager of Longview (75, boys 16-up). Finishing second were Ryder Adkinson of Gilmer (43, boys 10-11), Garret Travis of Gilmer (91, boys 12-13), Carson Elliott of Troup (82, boys 14-15) and Brody Bowden of Longview (76, boys 16-up). In third place on Monday were Beckham Boroughs of Diana (45, boys 10-11), Cade Moulder of Point (91, boys 12-13), Cooper Lux of White Oak (82, boys 14-15) and Luke Gibbons of Jefferson (81, boys 16-up). Player of the Year honors based on all tournaments were James Daugherty (coed 7-9), Kyleigh MacBeth (girls 10-11), Ryder Adkinson (boys 10-11), Mya Fuller (girls 12-13), Garret Travis (boys 12-13), Teagan Eager (girls 14-15), Carson Elliott (boys 14-15), Margeaux McDonald (girls 16-up) and Copelan Eager (boys 16-up).
