The Drive
Ford hasn’t said anything officially, but a leaked order guide shows some key engine changes for the 2027 F-150.
The first proof of that is the 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine now available in place of the old 2.7-liter.
For reference, the 2.7-liter made 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
You’ll find the 3.0-liter EcoBoost as the standard option in some F-150 XL, STX, XLT, and Lariat models.
Previously, it wasn’t available in the King Ranch and Platinum models—only the 3.5-liter EcoBoost and its electrified PowerBoost variant.
