(PRESS RELEASE) ESSEN, 4-Aug-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — RWE and Google have signed a new power purchase agreement for RWE’s first solar project in Oklahoma. Under the 15-year agreement, Google will purchase the full output from RWE’s 155 MWac Crooked Creek Solar project in McCurtain County. Once operational, Crooked Creek Solar will supply electricity to support Google’s operations in the Southwest Power Pool market, known as SPP. He said Crooked Creek Solar shows how strategic partnerships can accelerate new energy development while creating jobs, generating local tax revenue and strengthening communities. In addition to the 155 MW Crooked Creek Solar project, the company owns and operates the 148 MW Boiling Springs wind project in Woodward County.
