(IN BRIEF) NIB has signed a EUR 50 million, seven-year loan with Embla Medical hf. The financing will support Embla Medical’s research and development activities from 2027 to 2029, focusing on prosthetics, orthotics and related healthcare solutions. Embla Medical is headquartered in Iceland and provides prosthetics, orthotics and mobility solutions in more than 120 markets worldwide. Embla Medical will use the financing for the development of new and improved prosthetics, orthotics and related healthcare solutions. Through the financing, NIB is supporting the continued development of medical technologies designed to improve mobility, patient outcomes and access to advanced healthcare solutions.
