(PRESS RELEASE) PŁOCK, 4-Aug-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — ORLEN Group has completed the acquisition of a 216 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Poland, strengthening its renewable energy portfolio and advancing its investment programme in low-emission power generation. Ireneusz Fąfara, President of the ORLEN Management Board, said the acquisition adds a 216 MW project to ORLEN’s renewable energy portfolio. These companies hold the rights to build the 180 MW solar farm and the 36 MW wind farm. Through the Kazimierz Biskupi project, ORLEN is expanding its onshore renewable energy platform while supporting domestic project delivery, grid efficiency and the development of large-scale hybrid renewable energy clusters in Poland.
