The average price in Virginia is down by seven cents to $3.91 this compared to last week, while the average price across the country is down by three cents to $4.08. The average price of gas in Danville fell by four cents this week to $3.81 a gallon, while the average in Pittsylvania County dropped by a nickel this week to $3.88 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville decreased by seven cents this week to $3.81 a gallon, while in Henry County the average price is down by six cents to $3.77 a gallon and is the cheapest in the region. The average price in Halifax County is down by three cents this week at $3.87 a gallon.
