A total of 10 closures of eastbound and westbound I-70 are planned at Exit 244 to U.S. Highway 6, for bridge construction as part of the $900 million Floyd Hill Project , the release states. Eastbound I-70 closures are planned Wednesday, Aug. 5; Thursday Aug. 6; Friday, Aug. 7; Monday Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug 18. Westbound closures are planned Sunday, Aug. 9; Monday, Aug 10; Tuesday, Aug 11; Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Thursday, Aug. 13. If the closure schedule is adjusted, the eastbound I-70 closures could occur on Monday, Aug. 10, and Tuesday, Aug. 11, and the westbound I-70 closures could occur nightly from Sunday, Aug. 16, through Thursday, Aug. 20, according to the news release.
