The ‘Local News Landscape Study, Northeast Wisconsin’ was performed by the UW-Green Bay Center for Civic Engagement. Social media is a convenient way to encounter local information, but respondents did not necessarily view it as the most trusted source. Trust in local journalism is strong; Respondents found greater trust in traditional local news sources over social media-based sources.
