By Tracy FolzMackenzie Villarreal, who will be a senior at George D. Warriner High School this upcoming school year, is the first high school student to be accepted, during her senior year, into the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Nursing Program.
When she was a freshman, her mom learned about the Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program at UWGB.
The Early College Credit Program is a separate program from the Rising Phoenix Program and offers up to 18 credits in high school.
“It is extremely beneficial to get a head start in high school, at no cost to you or your parents.”
