A legal battle over Andhra Pradesh’s teacher recruitment process for DSC-2025 has reached the High Court. Senior lawyer S Sriram Subrahmanyam, who previously served as Advocate General under the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government, is asking for a CBI investigation into the recruitment process. The High Court agreed to hear the case again in three weeks after considering arguments from both sides. Sriram claimed that before issuing the official recruitment notice, the government increased the sports quota from 2% to 3%. Under this new policy, some teacher posts were filled without written exams.
