Barcelona have signed Brazil forward Kerolin from Women's Super League champions Manchester City on a contract running through to 2030. Kerolin joined City from North Carolina Courage in January 2025 and had a contract with the club until 2028. European champions Barcelona have lost several key players this summer including two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas, who joined London City Lionesses. Spain defender Mapi Leon also joined London City Lionesses and talented forward Salma Parraluelo moved to Champions League rivals Lyon. Kerolin is viewed as a replacement for Parraluelo, while City have strengthened their attacking options this summer with the arrival of England's Beth Mead.
