The programmes will be led by Mira Ingemann, an instructor certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. “Through Bermuda College, I hope to make this standardised training accessible to more people while enabling existing critical incident stress management-trained members to deepen their skills and progress towards specialist certification. Group Crisis Intervention will cover the basics of CISM and its approaches, as well as when follow-up services and referrals are needed. Dr Ingemann, a registered clinical psychologist, has more than 30 years of experience working as an International Critical Incident Stress Foundation-certified instructor. Dr Ingemann created the Bermuda Police Service’s CISM programme and has provided crisis intervention training locally and internationally.
